About the Role
Kraken Pro is seeking a community builder who is a trader at heart to engage with a demanding and skeptical audience. This role involves active participation in online communities, rapid and accurate communication of market events, building ambassador programs, hosting community events, and providing product feedback.
Responsibilities
- Engage in Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, and Reddit communities.
- Communicate market events with speed and accuracy.
- Establish an ambassador and power-user program.
- Host AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, and post-mortems.
- Relay product feedback and issues to the Product team with supporting evidence.
- Inform the community about product updates and resolutions.
- Create shareable content such as threads, feature teardowns, and release notes.
- Track and report on community metrics including sentiment, share of voice, signups, and retention.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a trader with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- 3+ years of experience managing community or social media for a product targeting a technical, skeptical audience (e.g., crypto, fintech, gaming, dev tools).
- Proven ability to write effectively for both short-form and long-form content.
- Resilience and strong instincts for handling community interactions, including de-escalation.
- Experience building a community from the ground up.
- Ability to operate autonomously and make decisions without constant oversight.
- Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving company environment.
