About the Role
Odin is seeking an operations leader to automate and streamline the investment infrastructure for private markets. This role involves managing a team, optimizing systems, and driving automation to support the company's rapid growth and expansion into new products and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of senior operators and deal operations staff.
- Oversee the end-to-end operations function, including launching and closing investments, post-close governance, and managing operating systems.
- Develop and execute the automation roadmap for the operations function.
- Identify operational pain points and implement automated solutions, collaborating with product and engineering when necessary.
- Make strategic decisions on which opportunities to pursue in collaboration with the commercial team.
- Handle high-value deals, edge cases, and escalations requiring judgment.
- Set the cultural bar for the team and ensure root issues are addressed.
- Rebuild and optimize operational processes and systems.
Requirements
- Directly managed teams of 5+ for at least 3 years, including senior individual contributors.
- Deep understanding of systems and processes from end to end.
- Ability to reason from first principles and identify the simplest effective systems.
- Experience building significant operations automations with AI.
- Ability to provide and receive direct, honest feedback.
- Prior experience in regulated financial services is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in-person at least three days a week.
