About the Role
The Sustainability Analyst will support the Global Sustainability Reporting team in fulfilling annual ESG Sustainability Reporting. This role is critical to achieving client public reporting objectives and assessing packaging responsible sourcing requirements. The analyst will work with internal cross-functional teams, clients, and Suppliers, gaining exposure to Fiber and Plastics programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed review of Supplier submissions, assessing conformance.
- Liaise with Suppliers via written email, clearly outlining non-compliance reasons for correction.
- Prompt escalation of issues to key contacts to support achievement of timelines.
- Maintain daily log of activities to enable regular status updates.
- Identify and communicate risks impacting timeline achievement to manager.
- Attend regular meetings.
- Collaboratively problem-solve.
- Support fast-paced demand.
- Bring positivity to support team success.
- Support additional Sustainability data activity as requested.
Requirements
- Eagerness to learn Sustainable Sourcing client requirements.
- Ability to follow detailed process instructions, raising questions to clarify as needed.
- Eye for detail to identify non-conformance issues.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Reliable self-starter who can prioritize workload, and elevate questions as needed.
- Courteous, responsive and helpful to address customer queries.
- Comfortable navigating software applications.
