About the Role

Opportunities are available for an advanced social worker at Team Manager Level with considerable expertise, skills, and experience to work autonomously, demonstrating and modeling exemplary standards of practice, supporting social workers at all levels, non-qualified practitioners, and students within the service. The post will report to the Service Manager Adult Social Care Mental Health Service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and model exemplary standards of practice.
  • Support social workers at all levels, non-qualified practitioners, and students within the service.

Requirements

  • Applicants (if not qualified as an Approved Mental Health Professional) will need to demonstrate a firm commitment to undertake all relevant trainings to qualify and be approved as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
  • Knowledge and Experience of Forensic Mental Health Social Work Practice and Social Supervision will be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge, Experience and Approval as an Approved Mental Health Professional will be highly desirable.
