About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inclusion Leader to join the staff team at St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School. The Inclusion Leader will work regularly alongside support staff, teachers, and senior leaders, contributing significantly to our educational provision and school community.
Responsibilities
- Lead inclusive provision across the whole primary range.
- Support children's mental health and wellbeing.
- Teach English as an additional language.
- Promote school attendance.
- Develop, deliver, and enrich the school curriculum.
- Play a key role in the development, delivery, and enrichment of our curriculum.
Requirements
- Must have the vision, interpersonal skills, and expertise to lead inclusive provision across the whole primary range.
- Must have or be willing and capable of completing the SENCO qualification.
- Must be an outstanding teacher with high expectations and standards.
- Must have an understanding of a wide range of strategies to support children’s mental health and wellbeing.
- Must have a good knowledge of teaching English as an additional language.
- Must be passionate about school attendance.
- Must have an innovative and exciting approach to learning.
- Must have the ability to reflect on and develop their own practice and that of others.
- Must be willing to play a key role in the development, delivery, and enrichment of our curriculum.
- Must be a well-organized and proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school team.
- Must support the Catholic ethos of our school (does not have to be Catholic).
