About the Role
This role offers direct exposure to corporate communications at a management level, providing insights into brand management, media relations, and communications within regulated contexts. You will receive regular feedback and mentoring from an experienced communications team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the editorial calendar and gather input from teams across the business.
- Draft, schedule, and publish posts for the DCS company account and assist in producing content for other profiles.
- Prepare visuals, carousels, and short-form video content.
- Track reach, engagement, and follower growth, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and clip coverage of DCS, e-mobility, and EV charging across trade and business media.
- Maintain media lists, press materials, and the coverage archive.
- Assist in preparing for interviews, statements, and trade association engagements.
- Help run internal channels and formats, including research, drafting, slide creation, and follow-up.
- Ensure messaging consistency across the Berlin, Munich, and Tokyo offices.
- Maintain templates, distribution lists, and the internal communications calendar.
- Collaborate with People & Culture on candidate-facing content and career page material.
- Contribute to employer branding formats, such as the employee interview series on LinkedIn.
- Assist in coordinating internal and external events from preparation to on-site management and documentation.
- Fact-check, proofread, and verify sources before publication.
- Maintain the communications archive, including coverage, assets, and approvals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent written English at native or C2 level.
- Good working German, C1 preferred.
- First practical experience in communications, editorial work, journalism, or an agency environment.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn as a professional channel.
- Comfortable producing simple visual assets for social media (Canva or similar).
- Structured, reliable, and discreet.
- Genuine interest in e-mobility and the energy transition.
- Available for 20 hours per week year-round, for at least 12 months.
- Available to work for 40 hours per week during semester breaks.
