About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Pricing Lead ANZ to play a key role in shaping and delivering pricing strategies that protect margin, support sustainable growth and enable strong commercial decision-making across the ANZ business. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Finance Director ANZ, this role will work closely with commercial, procurement, operations, PMM and market pricing teams to identify risks and opportunities, support pricing activity and ensure decisions align with business and margin expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies across the ANZ market and technology portfolio.
- Review cost and pricing movements, monitor margin performance and lead improvement actions.
- Work with procurement and operations to understand key cost movements and support mitigation or recovery plans.
- Deliver timely and accurate pricing support to the sales organisation in partnership with market pricing teams.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth.
- Manage the annual pricing renewal process, sales rebates process, and costing and pricing for new product opportunities.
- Support and coach the Pricing Specialist team in partnership with the PMM Lead.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in pricing, commercial finance, revenue management, or a related field.
- Experience leading pricing processes or influencing commercial decision-making across functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify pricing risk and opportunity.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into practical business insights.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, regions and business priorities.
- Strong understanding of risk management, including commodity, currency and other cost drivers.
- Self-sufficient, flexible and comfortable managing competing local, regional and global deadlines.
