About the Role
In this role, you will understand complex requirements, reduce them to the essentials, and translate them into intuitive user concepts. You will design outstanding user interfaces and accompany your designs through development to release and beyond. Working in an agile team, you will develop software, with the design process running almost parallel to implementation, making your designs a reality step by step.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create outstanding user interfaces in the spirit of Human-Centered Design.
- Lead projects, teams, and clients decisively and persistently through all design phases: Discover – Define – Develop – Deliver – Evolve.
- Integrate diverse requirements from users, product managers, and software developers into innovative functional concepts.
- Visualize ideas and solution approaches quickly, understandably, and expressively – digitally or analog.
- Contribute significantly to customer collaboration and establish processes for sustainable success of the software product.
- Explore new creative, technological, and societal topic areas, enjoy technically oriented questions, and actively shape processes in your environment.
- Present concepts to clients and stakeholders and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
- Demonstrable practical experience in UI/UX and the described area of responsibility.
- Very good German and English skills (min. C1 level) for clear and confident communication.
- Ability to translate complex contexts into simple, efficient, and user-centered operating concepts.
- Structured way of working – information architectures, personas, user journeys, wireframes, flows, visuals, prototypes, and testing are routine.
- Proficiency in current tools and workflows (e.g., Figma/Sketch, AI-supported tools, analysis and research tools) and openness to new methods for productivity optimization.
- Practical experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) leads to better concepts and enables good exchange with the development team.

Education Level
- Completed degree in Product, Interface, or Interaction Design, Media Informatics, or a comparable educational path.
