About the Role

We are looking for someone who practically develops data platforms, builds clean interfaces, and ensures reliable, secure data delivery. You will drive the setup and expansion of our Data Warehouse from core modeling to backend integration. You will develop clean APIs and optimize distributed query engines (like Trino) for peak performance to stably consolidate data from various sources. You will automate pipeline deployment via CI/CD and design a resilient cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, high availability, and well-thought-out failover concepts. In addition to reliable observability and maximum data security (DSGVO), you will actively shape our modern GenAI and RAG infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Drive the setup and expansion of our Data Warehouse from core modeling to backend integration.
Develop clean APIs and optimize distributed query engines (like Trino) for peak performance.
Automate pipeline deployment via CI/CD.
Design a resilient cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, high availability, and failover concepts.
Ensure reliable observability and data security (DSGVO).
Shape our modern GenAI and RAG infrastructure.

Requirements

Experience building Data Warehouses.
Proficiency in software development (Backend, APIs, CI/CD).
Experience with Linux and Docker.
Familiarity with distributed query engines (preferably Trino) and modern cloud architectures.
A keen eye for security, GDPR, and observability.
Structured approach to solving complex challenges.
Interest in future topics like GenAI, RAG, or agentic AI.
Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude & Co. in daily work.
German language proficiency at C1 level is mandatory.
Ability to work 100% from home within Germany.
Part-time work is possible, ideally from 30 hours per week.
