About the Role
We are seeking casual Warehouse Storeperson positions for our incoming team at the Smithfield, NSW Distribution Centre. This role is crucial for our efficient operations, involving the loading and unloading of containers, picking and packing goods, and safe stock handling.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading containers and IBT cages
- Picking and packing of goods
- Safe handling of stock and use of RF Scanner Technology
- General warehousing duties
- Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices
- Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting
Requirements
- Adaptability
- Ability to think on your feet
- Efficient communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good understanding of ERP-type processes
- Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment
- Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 15 kgs
