About the Role

Join ASX, a leading global securities exchange and trusted market operator, as part of a team powering a stronger economic future. In this role, you will support the implementation and adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning for P&C, working across critical market infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis for Position Management, Workforce Planning, and Financial Planning to support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation.
Conduct deep dive gap analysis on As-Is and To Be states with stakeholders.
Liaise with Project/Program Owners and Subject Matter Experts for business request elicitation and approval.
Define transitions of business processes, including operating models, roles, and governance.
Analyze and map process flows, domain models, and system data flows.
Elicit, prepare, and manage business requirements (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria).
Define and validate data, reporting, planning, security, and integration requirements across Workday systems.
Use formal modeling techniques to represent business requirements.
Liaise with related internal teams to understand dependencies and deliver solutions.
Review and contribute to test scenarios and the Test Strategy; lead business validation for UAT.
Liaise with IT solution providers for project progress, requirements clarification, and problem resolution.
Assume cross-functional responsibilities, including project coordination, stand-ups, retros, and backlog grooming.
Work with Release Management for smooth implementation and transition.
Contribute to change management activities and prepare training artifacts.
Conduct peer reviews of business analysis deliverables.
Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables using relevant techniques and tools.
Act as a practitioner within the Business Analyst Capability Community of Practice.

Requirements

Business analysis experience supporting Workday HCM and Position Management implementation.
5+ years of dedicated business analysis experience.
Experience working independently on Tier 1 projects across the full SDLC.
Deep understanding of business analysis fundamentals.
Experience gathering stakeholder needs and translating them into functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience analyzing and designing integrated processes, operating models, governance, controls, and data requirements for Position Management, Workforce Planning, or Financial Planning.
Experience in business process modeling using software like MS Visio.
Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Effective communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels and lead cross-functional analysis.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage change.
Comfortable working within a matrix structure.
Experience working with Change Management and influencing user behavior.
Experience supporting Workday Adaptive Planning or an equivalent enterprise planning platform (nice to have).
Experience delivering Workforce Planning or Financial Planning transformation (nice to have).
A recognized business-analysis certification, such as IIBA CBAP (nice to have).
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Australia on a permanent basis without restrictions.
