About the Role

Join Culture Amp on our mission to make a better world of work. As Chief People Officer, you will lead a strong and coherent People Experience function, drive AI innovation, influence product development, and represent Culture Amp in the market and with customers. This role is for someone who wants to leverage a strong existing platform to innovate and shape the future of work.

Responsibilities

  • Run People Experience (PX) well, ensuring predictable delivery and high standards across performance, engagement, compensation, talent acquisition, capability, and compliance in four countries.
  • Act as a trusted sounding board to the Executive team on structure, senior hires, compensation, and complex strategic decisions.
  • Be credible in the market and with customers by speaking at global events, joining customer conversations, and supporting Sales and Customer Experience.
  • Lead on AI internally, including the technology and shaping ways of working, by being personally fluent, setting governance, and driving adoption.
  • Influence product development by acting as Customer Zero, providing feedback to R&D, and shaping product bets with practitioner insights.

Requirements

  • Led a people function at scale in a global, multi-country business, ideally through significant change.
  • Built teams strong enough to make you unnecessary in operational details.
  • Possess strong judgment regarding organizations, including structure, senior talent, and intervention timing.
  • Willing to communicate difficult messages to powerful individuals and have a track record to support this.
  • Personally capable with AI, including using it in your own work, building with it, and setting governance for adoption.
  • Have a distinct and defensible view on the future of work.
  • Willing to engage commercially, including joining customer calls, answering practitioner questions, and speaking at events.
  • Motivated by having your internal practice be externally visible.
  • Ideally have experience in tech or SaaS, but experience at scale and complexity is prioritized over industry.
