About the Role
Akaysha is leading the energy transition and seeks technical experts to join its Development Engineering team. You will act as a technical expert on BESS and PCS Technologies, driving decisions and shaping the company's technology procurement strategy for its international project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of utility-scale BESS projects, from design reviews through to Investment Committee approval.
- Own OEM engagement, supplier selection and contract technical evaluations across batteries, PCS and key project technologies.
- Drive techno-commercial assessments, pricing strategies and bid responses that shape the future of our portfolio.
- Build and maintain the engineering tools, standards and technical governance that enable Akaysha to scale globally.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in BESS technology, project design and engineering risk management.
- Commercial judgement that balances technical performance, project risk and investment outcomes.
- The ability to turn complex technical information into clear recommendations for executives, investors and stakeholders.
- A passion for emerging technologies and the energy transition, with the credibility to influence suppliers, partners and project teams.
