About the Role
SS&C GIDS provides information processing and computer software services and products. The Company’s operating segments include financial markets, customer management, professional services, and output solutions. SS&C GIDS serves the alternative investments, asset and wealth management, banking and lending, insurance, and real estate industries.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and refinement sessions, proactively following up on action items to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Define epics and stories to support digital and mobile app delivery.
- Work with technology and platform teams to understand downstream requirements and identify technical considerations.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with business and project stakeholders to drive alignment and success.
- Develop relevant artefacts including requirements, solution options and recommendations, impact assessment and other technical advice and business cases, incorporating architectural recommendations where required.
- Translate end user/client insights into requirements e.g., epics and user stories; complete with acceptance criteria that can be understood and consumed by the implementation teams.
- Ensure requirement traceability and solution alignment through close collaboration with developers, testers, and stakeholders, supporting thorough validation across the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support to the delivery team through all stages of the project.
- Identify the current and target state and use process mapping to visualise the change.
- Planning and estimation to ensure analyst deliverables are timely and aligned with Delivery Plan.
- Identify risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies and ensure that they are appropriately captured and managed with timely escalation to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements
- Experience working on large, complex, multi-stream transition and large-scale transformation programs is an advantage.
- Strong preference for Superannuation experience.
- Strong understanding of Digital and API development.
- Strong experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and translating these to detailed user stories.
- Understanding of the Project Life Cycle and sound knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Domain knowledge of any of superannuation, investment, insurance and unit trust business operations.
- Experience with Jira, Claude, Copilot and AI Tooling.
- Degree, qualifications or equal experience in large complex organisations and/or programs or portfolios.
- Minimum five years’ business analysis experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
- Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a clear thought process with attention to detail whilst managing multiple deliverables concurrently.
