About the Role
This is a volunteer opportunity to support the Asian Influencer Awards and Diwali Collective event on 24th October at Radisson Blu Heathrow, London. Gain hands-on experience in event operations, award shows, festival curation, and guest management.
Responsibilities
- Welcome exhibitors and guide them to their designated stall spaces.
- Assist vendors with setting up displays, banners, and layout structures.
- Monitor aisles, assist visitors with event queries, and maintain an organized festival environment.
- Serve as an operational link between stallholders and the event production team.
- Manage the check-in desk, issue credentials, and ensure seamless entry for nominees and VIPs.
- Direct attendees to their reserved seats and tables.
- Assist stage managers with category line-ups, trophy handoff, and guest movement during the presentation.
- Guide attendees between lunch areas and the networking session.
- Facilitate guest entry, ushering, and floor management for the evening celebration.
- Keep walkways and emergency exits clear, stay alert to attendee needs, and report hazards to security.
Requirements
- Proactive, professional, and reliable team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized, calm, and approachable in a dynamic event environment.
- Interest in media, influencer culture, event production, or community festivals.
- Commitment to completing either the Morning Shift or Evening Shift on the event day.
