About the Role
Man AHL is seeking Junior Quantitative Researchers for an internship program. This role offers hands-on exposure to core quantitative research areas, applying scientific rigor and robust technology to diverse data and global markets. Successful candidates will work on meaningful projects and have the opportunity to learn and develop within an innovative and collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement trading strategies.
- Contribute to AHL's overall research effort by collaborating with teams across AHL.
- Follow industry/academic literature for innovations and suggest how AHL can profit from them.
- Apply quantitative techniques and market intuition to large, often novel or unconventional, datasets and cultivate areas of expertise.
- Contribute to the business' overall research effort by interacting with and collaborating with other research teams.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical, statistical, or computing skills.
- Independent research experience.
- Awareness of available statistical and mathematical tools and techniques, with the ability to independently decide appropriate usage.
- Entrepreneurial team player, able to push and discuss views with the team and contribute to the wider research agenda.
