About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Site Manager who is passionate about construction, thinks beyond individual construction sites, and can identify technical solutions while keeping costs and deadlines in mind. You will be a key technical point of contact within our location and will actively participate in operational construction business, taking on individual construction projects or supporting particularly demanding ones.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead and manage construction projects.
- Coordinate construction processes, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Monitor quality and costs.
- Calculate and review bids.
- Prepare and evaluate change orders.
- Economically evaluate ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with clients, planners, and subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractor performance.
- Provide support for difficult technical or organizational issues.
- Coordinate within the construction management team.
- Participate in capacity and project planning for the location.
- Collaborate closely with management.
Requirements
- Experience in construction sites and economic thinking.
- Ability to independently manage construction projects.
- Proficiency in calculation and bid preparation.
- Ability to monitor costs, deadlines, and quality equally.
- Understanding of economic contexts.
- Ability to make and stand by decisions.
- Ability to find pragmatic solutions for construction site problems.
- Confident communication with clients and project partners.
- Willingness to work in a team and value professional exchange.
- Experience as a Site Manager, Head Site Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Master Builder, Technician, or Master Craftsman is valued, but specific experience is more important than the title.
