About the Role
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, handling, storage, picking, labelling, and dispatch of bikes, accessories, and other stock. This role supports the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse by ensuring customer and internal orders are completed correctly, on time, and in line with agreed quality, productivity, and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately label products in line with company procedures, ensuring all labels contain the correct product information and are applied to the required quality standard.
- Pick, check, and prepare items listed on collection notes, ensuring the correct products and quantities are ready for collection within the required timescales.
- Support the e-commerce team with day-to-day orders by picking, checking, packing, and preparing products for dispatch accurately and on time.
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and position stock within the warehouse, in line with company procedures and subject to holding the required training and authorisation.
- Replenish products into the correct warehouse racking locations and carry out regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Use Brompton’s in-house warehouse management system and NetSuite as part of day-to-day operations to process orders, update stock movements, maintain accurate records, and support warehouse activities.
- Work in a safe manner in line with company policies and provided training.
- Attend and complete any required training, including Health and Safety, Product training, Data protection, Diversity and Equality, and relevant cross-training.
- Perform any other jobs around spare & accessories that may be deemed necessary.
