About the Role

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes within Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, ensuring data quality and optimizing performance for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and store data in Microsoft Fabric.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency by implementing rigorous validation and governance standards.
Optimize the performance and efficiency of the cloud data warehouse for analytics and reporting purposes.
Assist in the migration of existing data assets to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and infrastructure issues as they arise.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and updates related to Data Warehousing.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (or experience with similar cloud data warehouse platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake).
Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with ETL frameworks and tools.
Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture, and integration techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
Candidates will be asked to complete a background check, including a mandatory Criminal record check.
