About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption and responsible use of emerging AI and automation capabilities to improve cloud platforms and engineering workflows.
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers in creating scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Share passion for tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal & external technology communities.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, Go, and Node.js, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud provider tools.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams, shaping system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, or cloud-native systems.
- Partner with architects and product leaders to define platform roadmaps and shared services strategy.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to well-managed cloud solutions.
- Influence long-term technology strategy through evaluation of emerging tools and practices.
- Integrate risk awareness into daily work, considering cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, audits, and change management.
- Lead complex design and implementation efforts for distributed or cloud-native systems.
- Mentor other members of the engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud engineering.
