About the Role
As a Project Manager for the Water Department at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you will oversee the full lifecycle of capital projects for water and wastewater treatment systems, from concept to commissioning. You will manage contractors, coordinate with various internal teams, and drive schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure the reliability, resiliency, and sustainability of our fab's water systems. This role also involves shaping capital-planning strategy and mentoring future project managers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of major water infrastructure capital projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
- Coordinate project activities with operations staff to minimize impacts to water system reliability and customer service.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, budget targets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Review and approve project documentation, engineering reports, contract documents, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits, progress inspections, and project meetings to ensure successful execution.
- Provide leadership in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects that support the department's strategic objectives and long-term sustainability.
Requirements
- Experience in heavy industrial environments preferably in a process environment including pumps, piping, process equipment, and controls systems.
- Able to coordinate with a broad group of stakeholders including internal teams and external contractors.
- Strong Safety Culture.

Salary/Compensations
- $95,000 - $120,000
