About the Role

Lead a large and diverse Patient & Revenue Services team and oversee key services that support the patient journey at NSW's largest private hospital & Not-For-Profit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a broad portfolio of services that play an important role in both the patient journey and the hospital's operational performance.
  • Oversee key functions across Patient & Revenue Services, including patient billing, debt management and several essential administrative support services.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership across patient billing, Emergency Care administration, the Integrated Cancer Centre, Concierge, Switchboard and Mail Room services.
  • Focus on building team capability, managing performance, supporting workforce planning and driving continuous improvement across multiple service areas.
  • Manage overtime, customer feedback and debtor-related performance.

Requirements

  • Experience within hospital admissions, patient administration or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare and patient billing processes.
  • Proven leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and staff development.
  • Confidence managing difficult conversations and holding teams accountable for outcomes.
  • Experience preparing and managing staff rosters.
  • Availability to work 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
  • Participation in an on-call roster every second weekend with remote access.
