About the Role
Allied Universal® is hiring a Project Director to ensure compliance and meet the expectations of high-profile Florida Government customers. This role involves evaluating service agreements for expansion opportunities, ensuring maximum service effectiveness, and participating in plan design and enhancements. The Project Director will also provide general management to security supervisors, support their activities, and oversee employee training, documentation, discipline, and termination.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a high-profile customer, monitoring vendor portals for opportunities, rebids, and compliance.
- Engage appropriate stakeholders to ensure prompt and professional responses to client needs.
- Monitor Purchase Orders and payments, working with stakeholders to ensure timely payment for services.
- Coordinate annual price and pay increases for all clients using the contract platform.
- Function as an Operations and Logistics chief for the Florida Region Emergency Operations Center during disaster response efforts.
- Provide timely and appropriate communication to clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Regularly meet with clients to review services, seek opportunities for increased service, and assist with changing needs and schedules.
- Troubleshoot potential problems and assure contract renewals.
- Develop and implement new service programs.
- Lead contract renewal, rebid, and rate increase initiatives.
- Coordinate with security supervisors to assist with daily operations, offering suggestions for employee recognition, disciplinary action, or termination.
- Assess training needs and communicate them to the appropriate Market Training Manager.
- Provide specific training for supervisors requesting updates for their employees.
- Tour operations regularly and remain accessible to clients, supervisors, and employees.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Assist corporate security and site services with operations budget tracking.
- Create and maintain purchase requisitions.
- Prepare monthly finance reports, accruals, and re-classes.
- Manage weekly payroll, including timesheets, billing, and invoicing.
- Resolve accounting issues with vendors and internal departments.
- Select supervisory candidates and personnel for increased responsibility.
- Interpret contract provisions to define performance requirements.
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding their duties.
- Design and implement changes to physical security surveys and post-orders.
- Implement methods for reducing overtime.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities for clients.
- Provide insight into cross-training officers to enhance versatility.
- Interface with client management to discuss security/fire services, identify problem areas, provide expert recommendations, and take corrective action.
- Conduct dedicated site assessments to ensure compliance and provide recommendations on operations, policy, and technology applications.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate effective communications with outside emergency agencies.
- Inspect and evaluate risks and ensure adequate coverage for client sites, including compliance with post orders and regulations.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Florida Class MB Security Agency Manager's license.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field OR Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of general management experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years of general management experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and implementing training and development materials and programs.
- Minimum of two (2) years security experience.
- Able to successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
- Proven track record of excellence in customer service and financial management.
- Proficient in web-based applications, computer systems and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes.
- Participate in industry-specific professional organizations such as ASIS.
- Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while focused on results.
- Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence.

Salary/Compensations
- $210,000 - $220,000/yr.
