About the Role
As an Analyst in the Private Advisory & Family Office (PAFO) team in Sydney, you will support Managers, Directors, and Partners working with Australia’s most iconic families and private enterprises. Your client portfolio will include high net worth individuals, family groups, start-up enterprises, and large trading businesses. You will be responsible for client portfolios and delivering services with team support.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for trusts, individuals, companies and partnerships
- Preparation and review of all ATO correspondence, including Top 500 & Next 5000 ATO Private Group Reviews and general tax correspondence
- Identifying and advising clients on complex or tailored tax and accounting solutions for high net worth families and their family offices
- Assisting on advisory engagements including estate planning and succession planning
- Acting as an intermediary between directors, managers and your team
- Providing exceptional client service
- Providing technical support and training of junior staff
Requirements
- Currently completing CA qualifications
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier professional or accounting services firm
- Solid foundation of technical skills in taxation and accounting
- Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills
