About the Role
This permanent role is responsible for supporting the Head of Product & Pricing and the Direct Business Development Team with the ongoing monitoring, reporting, and management of existing products, including regulatory and compliance obligations. The position will also contribute to the development of new product solutions in the Direct Business.
Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing monitoring, reporting, and management of Direct insurance products.
- Monitor product compliance requirements, including Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO), across new and existing products.
- Support product reviews and the implementation of regulatory changes impacting Direct products.
- Develop and maintain product guidelines, processes, and procedures.
- Review and enhance product team processes and reporting frameworks.
- Support the onboarding of new products through the established onboarding framework.
- Manage client relationships and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and launch new product solutions.
- Work closely with teams across Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
- Contribute to a culture of strong risk management, governance, and compliance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the life insurance industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- The ability to recognize when issues should be escalated and involve others where required.
- Strategic thinking skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Professional integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality.
