About the Role

The VSD Offer Marketer will drive the growth and market development of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) business by combining market knowledge, customer engagement, competitive analysis, and offer management. This role requires a strong commercial mindset and hands-on VSD market experience to identify new business opportunities, expand business with existing customers, develop go-to-market strategies, and accelerate VSD business growth in collaboration with Sales and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive VSD business growth by identifying new customers, applications, and market opportunities, while expanding business with existing customers.
  • Develop and execute VSD market and go-to-market strategies based on market trends, customer requirements, industry dynamics, and business potential.
  • Conduct regular market analysis, including market size, growth potential, key applications, industry trends, customer segmentation, and emerging opportunities.
  • Perform systematic competitor analysis, including competitor product portfolios, pricing, specifications, strengths and weaknesses, market positioning, channel strategy, and key customer penetration.
  • Identify white-space opportunities and develop action plans to increase VSD market share in targeted segments and applications.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to identify, develop, and convert key VSD opportunities, particularly for strategic customers and high-growth segments.
  • Support Sales in developing new customers and new logos, as well as increasing share-of-wallet within existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, End Users, and other relevant market stakeholders to better understand market requirements and future demand.
  • Develop and manage the VSD offer strategy and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, competitive positioning, and business growth objectives.
  • Support product launches, offer transitions, lifecycle management, and migration strategies for existing and new VSD products.
  • Develop clear value propositions and product positioning based on customer needs and competitive differentiation.
  • Support pricing strategy and commercial positioning to improve both market competitiveness and business profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Channel, and global/regional teams to accelerate business development and successful commercialization of VSD offers.
  • Provide product, application, and competitive training to Sales teams, partners, and customers when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales or business development experience in Variable Speed Drives (VSD/VFD).
  • Strong understanding of the VSD market, applications, customers, competitors, and sales channels.
  • Proven experience in new customer acquisition and business development, as well as expanding business with existing customers.
  • Experience working with OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, End Users, or industrial distribution/channel partners is highly preferred.
  • Experience in market analysis, competitor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and development of go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Product organizations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Business-level English communication capability is preferred for collaboration with regional and global teams.
