About the Role
Execute high-throughput protein production workflows supporting antibody, bispecific and multi-specific molecules. Manage high-throughput purification operations across a range of mid-to-large expression volumes.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-throughput protein production workflows supporting antibody, bispecific and multi-specific molecules.
- Manage high-throughput purification operations across a range of mid-to-large expression volumes.
- Perform automated and semi-automated protein purification workflows using AKTA system- utilizing various types of affinity resins, polishing steps, along with quality assessment, to yield fit-for-purpose therapeutic molecules.
- Execute routine QC testing using SEC (HPLC) to evaluate purity, monomer content, and aggregation, while providing cross-functional support for concentration, endotoxin, and SDS-PAGE assays and LC/MS.
- Maintain seamless lab operations by formulating buffers, preparing consumables, packing chromatography columns, and performing preventive instruments care.
- Scale production processes through strategic planning and protocol optimization to meet quality and timeline target.
- Interact with informatics systems, document experimental data, procedures, and present findings to the department.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in biochemistry, molecular biology or biological sciences.
- Applicants with B.S. should have at least 3 to 4 years of industry lab work experience.
- Applicants with M.S. should have at least 2 years of industry lab work experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with protein purification using AKTA/FPLC system.
- Demonstrated wet-lab expertise in handling large sample numbers with exceptional accuracy and data integrity.
- A basic understanding of antibody structure and function.
- Passionate about continuous learning, technical skill expansion, and adopting advanced protein production platforms.
- Strong documentation habits, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel.
