About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for the Pricing Strategy team to investigate and evaluate pricing and packaging strategies, accelerate Salesforce growth, and develop cross-functional expertise. This role offers exposure to high-priority products and market expansion initiatives, collaborating with leaders to craft business models, define strategies for new offerings, optimize existing ones, and drive monetization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize long-term pricing and packaging strategies for Salesforce, collaborating with Product Management, Product Marketing, Go To Market, Sales, and Deal Desk.
- Make data-driven recommendations using structured problem-solving frameworks.
- Assist product operations in prioritizing launches and creating SKUs that align with product features.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the existing portfolio through market, competitive, customer, and stakeholder research.
- Clearly communicate pricing concepts and recommendations to executive leadership and operationalize them with cross-functional teams.
- Identify new pricing models while understanding their implications to the existing base.
- Nurture executive-level relationships and influence senior executives to gain alignment on recommendations.
- Design and lead qualitative and quantitative sales and customer research to test pricing and packaging strategy hypotheses.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant working experience.
- Superior analytical, strategic, communication, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify and develop solutions to complex, cross-departmental problems from strategic and operational perspectives.
- Capability to communicate concepts clearly and credibly to multiple audiences.
- Ability to influence various constituents, including senior management.
- Deep interest in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to drive sound decision-making.
- Intellectually curious, creative strategic business thinker adept at tackling complex challenges.
- Ability to influence and set direction with executive leadership.
- Comfortable working with all levels of leaders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines and complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Thrives in high-growth, performance-focused environments with frequent change.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent).

- $147,400 - $247,900 annually in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area
