About the Role

AI Labs is building an emerging product that changes how Salesforce itself gets built. GTM Engineers are the conduit between our go to market teams and our product teams, building the skills and references our agents draw on. This role requires someone with strong business judgment, operating instincts, and technical depth to build.

Responsibilities

  • Be the conduit, carrying customer needs into Product and product capabilities back to the field without loss in translation.
  • Build agent skills, references, and reference patterns to cover eighty percent of customer requirements out of the box.
  • Identify patterns across customer requirements to build reusable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical capabilities and vice versa with precision.
  • Test built capabilities against real customer requirements and environments before field release.
  • Maintain a clear view of built, in-progress, and covered capabilities, reporting plainly.
  • Document and teach built capabilities to enable the field to use them independently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, data modeling, integrations).
  • Proven experience shipping to production and supporting those shipments.
  • Understanding of how customers buy and their objectives.
  • Ability to elicit and prioritize real business requirements from leaders.
  • Organized with the ability to track personal coverage and progress.
  • Ability to be trusted with a program without supervision.
  • Comfortable moving between business requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Credibility with both sales leaders and engineers.
  • Experience building with AI coding agents, understanding their strengths and limitations.
  • Instinct to look for reusable versions of one-off requests.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

  • $117,400 - $177,600 annually
  • $140,900 - $193,700 annually in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area
