About the Role

This role offers an opportunity to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects that support safe, reliable, and resilient transport outcomes for the community. You will drive project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver multiple projects across a program of works, including scope development, planning, scheduling, reporting, and resource coordination.
Develop works brief, project submissions, and project documentation to support informed decision making and successful delivery outcomes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and government partners.
Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and expenditure to ensure strong financial management and value for money outcomes.
Communicate complex technical and engineering concepts to a range of audiences in a clear and practical way.
Ensure projects comply with quality, safety, and environmental requirements, standards, and approvals.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the successful delivery of medium-scale projects that support Transport for NSW's broader objectives.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Proven experience managing multiple civil infrastructure projects or programs with interdependencies and competing priorities.
Strong project planning, governance, risk management, and delivery capability.
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
Working knowledge of procurement, contract management, safety, quality, and environmental requirements within a project environment.
A collaborative and outcome-focused approach, with a commitment to integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
