About the Role
This role owns the full loop from thesis to revenue: understanding the real buyer, turning an existing proof of concept into a reliable product, and building the go-to-market motion to establish a repeatable business. You will work directly with Engineering, customers, and Sales, reporting to the CEO with significant autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Own the market thesis, including identifying the real buyer, their willingness to pay, and product scope.
- Guide the product from an early proof of concept to a reliable offering for multiple paying customers.
- Engage directly with Engineering on epics, prototypes, requirements, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Develop the go-to-market strategy, including positioning, packaging, and pricing input.
- Provide timely and honest assessments of progress and challenges directly to the CEO.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping products from inception ('zero to one').
- Direct customer engagement to validate problems and willingness to pay.
- Hands-on technical experience, including prototyping, proof of concepts, or spec writing and implementation.
- Proven ability to make decisions with incomplete information and accept outcomes.
- Proficiency in using AI as a problem-solving tool.
- Comfort validating markets rather than executing within established ones.
- Willingness to be hands-on with prototypes and implementation, not solely focused on strategy.
- Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.
