About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until the end of March 2027, focused on overseeing recruitment for Avis, Budget, and Apex brands within Australia. The role involves partnering with business leaders to hire operational talent and providing a high-touch candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage applicant statuses in the ATS in real-time, meeting compliance measures.
  • Pre-select candidates based on role requirements (skill set and experience level).
  • Coordinate interviews (face-to-face and virtual) and gather feedback.
  • Disposition applicants, extend offers, schedule start dates, and provide follow-up.
  • Ensure an efficient and high-touch experience for candidates throughout the application and offer stages.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide expert support.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and stakeholders.
  • Advertise requisitions within budget and appropriate channels.
  • Educate line managers on talent acquisition best practices.
  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Meet recruitment KPIs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' recruitment experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with urgency.
  • Expertise in end-to-end recruitment for various roles (operational, front line, management).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the business.
  • Ability to think creatively to attract and source talent.
