About the Role

Paychex is integrating payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services into a unified HCM platform. As Paychex and Paycor combine, we are leveraging technology, data, AI, and human expertise to enhance business operations and employee support. This role is crucial in managing and directing the Employer Shared Responsibility Services team, ensuring efficient case setup and ongoing client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, monitors, and directs all activities, workflows, and transactional management of the Employer Shared Responsibility Services team.
  • Provides direct supervision to staff responsible for processing new case set-ups and responding to client and partner inquiries.
  • Oversees case submissions to ensure completion within service level agreements.
  • Ensures staff complete onboarding calls and respond to inquiries from clients and Sales and Operations partners.
  • Communicates performance expectations and reviews departmental processes to meet operational priorities.
  • Assists in establishing departmental policies and implements procedures for timely and accurate service.
  • Reviews business processes for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to service level standards, recommending improvements.
  • Recruits, hires, and evaluates personnel performance.
  • Counsels and develops staff through career development and training programs.
  • Represents the department on teams and projects to ensure departmental needs are met and align with goals.
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and monitors expenses.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Customer Service and Sales or Insurance.
  • 2 years of experience in Supervisory experience.
  • Life, Accident and Health license must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
