About the Role
Auquan is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist with a focus on Sustainability to build new products directly from real client problems. This role involves working directly with senior sustainability stakeholders at top financial institutions to identify high-value, unsolved workflows, rapidly turn them into MVP AI-powered products, and drive those products to real usage and measurable outcomes. You will act as a 0→1 product builder embedded in the customer environment, responsible for turning ambiguous workflows into deployed AI products within a small Pod, owning end-to-end outcomes and client delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with senior sustainability stakeholders at top financial institutions
- Identify high-value, unsolved workflows
- Rapidly turn those into MVP AI-powered products
- Drive those products to real usage and measurable outcomes
- Own a portfolio of enterprise financial clients and become their go-to partner
- Run deep discovery: sitting inside workflows, shadowing analysts, joining working sessions
- Understand and map workflows end-to-end (e.g. credit reviews, investment research, portfolio monitoring)
- Translate messy, ambiguous processes into structured, multi-step AI workflows
- Rapidly build MVPs and prototypes; iterating directly with users
- Work in lockstep with Product Engineers to ship usable capabilities weekly
- Design evaluation logic, edge cases, and correctness criteria
- Drive adoption: ensuring clients can independently use what you build
- Measure success via real KPI movement and usage
- Manage multi-threaded client engagements (business, security, procurement)
- Expand usage: identifying new use cases, teams, and opportunities
- Convert workflows into reusable product components and feeding product direction
- Work closely with vertical leads to align on what “good” looks like, while maintaining ownership of execution and client outcomes
Requirements
- Proven track record of building products from 0→1: discovery → MVP → iteration → real usage
- Strong client presence with the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholder conversations
- Hands-on GenAI fluency (LLMs, workflows, rapid prototyping)
- Builder mindset: ships V1s in days, thrives in ambiguity, bias to action
- Experience in ESG/Sustainability, e.g. as a consultant, or in-house at a financial services firm or corporate
- 4-8+ years of B2B enterprise product experience, fintech and applied AI preferred
- Experience in financial services workflows (credit, investing, research, monitoring)
- Experience with LLM tooling (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, etc.)
