About the Role
Join our culinary team at Novotel Sydney Darling Square, assisting with daily operational aspects of the kitchen across various outlets including buffet breakfast, bar and restaurant, in-room dining, and function services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure stock is rotated, stored, and labelled correctly.
Requirements
- Adaptable and enjoy working in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
- Work well in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Skills
