About the Role

KPMG is seeking an Advisory Associate for its Advisory practice, focusing on leveraging AI and digital innovation to help clients navigate change and transform their competitive edge. The role emphasizes a people-first approach with investment in continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Work with leading financial institutions, supporting technology and data efforts in digital transformation, data management and analytics, digital marketing and sales, investment operations, and technology-enhanced fund management.
Leverage leading technology trends to help clients make data-driven decisions, design target operating models, and implement new business models.
Utilize technology-based solutions including cloud, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to execute strategic initiatives.
Support concepts in data product management, data science, data governance, analysis, and AI within investment operations, customer sales, marketing, servicing, and product distribution.
Advance the KPMG brand by working on business proposals, conducting market research, and exploring industry trends.
Develop compelling materials that contribute to firm leadership initiatives, industry points of view, and go-to-market products and services.
Assist in facilitating internal firm initiatives that simplify, redesign, or innovate existing processes to drive efficiencies, positively impact culture, and foster collaboration.

Requirements

Must be pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, MIS, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent program with a strong technical or quantitative focus by the start date.
Business and Technology/Data Science double majors are preferred.
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity.
Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote; must be located within the U.S. when working remotely.
Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
