About the Role

KPMG is seeking an Advisory Intern for its Advisory practice, focusing on defining the future of business through AI and digital innovation to deliver intelligent, data-driven solutions for clients. The role emphasizes a people-first approach, investing in continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Assist with analytical reviews of healthcare data and conduct research on industry best practices.
Translate data analysis into narratives to communicate the need for change.
Support quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop dashboards for monitoring initiative success.
Provide clients with a thorough, balanced view of their progress.
Help with interviews of clinicians, administrators, or other operational leaders to determine current state and provide feedback on new processes.
Participate in client engagements and work streams focused on improving clinical, quality, operational, and financial outcomes in healthcare.
Analyze complex issues and frame approaches for potential solutions.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or other healthcare licensed degree, Health Management/Administration, Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent program.
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
Coursework and/or experience related to healthcare operations and finance, analytics, strategy, finance, and/or technology.
Understanding of US Healthcare and ability to work in the Healthcare Provider setting.
At least one year of experience in a clinical practice setting (hospital, clinic, post-acute setting) is preferred if clinically licensed.
Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills.
Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes with a professional demeanor and collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic environment.
Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism.
Ability to manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity.
Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote within the U.S.
Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
