About the Role
KPMG is seeking an Advisory Associate for its Advisory practice, focusing on delivering intelligent, data-driven solutions to clients through AI and digital innovation. This role is part of a people-first approach that invests in continuous learning and fosters growth and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of technology consulting services for client engagements by executing assigned tasks, identifying and remediating business and technology challenges, and utilizing KPMG frameworks and methodologies.
- Conduct research on topics, tools, and processes including AI, IoT, and cloud engineering to support client delivery and understand emerging technology trends, benefits, risks, and deployment strategies.
- Participate in business process technical design, data strategy and transformation, development, testing, and implementation of modern digital solutions using industry-leading vendor technologies.
- Contribute to project management activities, including risk identification, status tracking, deliverable coordination, and client presentations, ensuring high-quality deliverables and documentation.
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge, participate in sales and business development activities, support the development of KPMG reusable offerings, and gather client and market information to improve consulting services.
- Achieve relevant certifications in technology domains, demonstrate a strong understanding of the technology and data landscape, and proactively manage and communicate risks to protect businesses and limit disruptions.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent program from an accredited college or university by the start date.
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Fluency with artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to apply AI techniques to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate findings.
- Knowledge and awareness of technologies such as IoT and Cloud Computing platforms.
- Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive strategic outcomes and a collaborative leadership approach.
- Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (Excel emphasis), and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation to office/client locations.
- Work location may be in-office, at client sites, or virtual/remote; must be located within the U.S. when working remotely.
- Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
