About the Role

KPMG is seeking an Advisory Intern for its Advisory practice. The firm is defining the future of business through AI and digital innovation, delivering intelligent, data-driven solutions to help clients navigate change and transform their competitive edge. Responsibilities

Assist clients in finance strategy, operational performance, and process improvement initiatives, guiding them through change from current to future state business processes.
Develop industry-leading Payroll, Financial, or Supply Chain processes to enhance enterprise performance using cloud-based technology (Oracle, Workday, or SAP).
Analyze finance process areas (financial planning & analysis, financial close and consolidation, management reporting, operational finance), focusing on process, technology, data, and organizational designs.
Conduct research, gather data, and perform analysis across finance and accounting functional areas.
Utilize recognized tools and techniques for structured problem-solving and deliverable development, proactively managing risks to protect the business.
Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and adaptability in various interaction settings (client site, office, virtual).
Operate with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful work environment.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Information Systems/Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related degree.
A double major in Business and Technology is preferred.
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
Fluency with artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to apply AI techniques to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate findings.
Ability to obtain a specific cloud-based technology solution (Oracle, Workday, or SAP) certification within three months of employment is preferred.
Strong technical and business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills.
Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes with a professional demeanor and collaborative leadership approach.
Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (Excel emphasis) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work.
Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
