About the Role

KPMG is seeking an Advisory Associate for its Advisory practice to execute and develop process and strategy improvements across multiple procurement, supply chain, and operations disciplines. The role involves supporting service delivery and software implementation projects, developing client relationships, and contributing to data-driven decisions using cutting-edge technology trends.

Responsibilities

Execute and develop processes and strategy improvements across multiple procurement, supply chain and operations disciplines to include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement Optimization, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Business Process Redesign, Reverse Logistics, Continuous Process Improvement, E-Commerce and Supply Chain Risk Management
Support service delivery and/or software implementation projects within the supply chain continuum
Develop and sustain relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services
Contribute to design, preparation and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical and concise manner
Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis in a structured and scalable format
Utilize cutting-edge technology trends, including cloud, machine learning and AI, to drive data-driven decisions, target operating models and new business strategies for clients

Requirements

Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations or equivalent program
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
Working knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or E-commerce operations
Interest and aptitude for technology such as Coupa, Ivalua, JDA, Oracle Commerce Cloud, SAP and Ariba preferred
Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills
Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills
Capability to apply professional judgment and skepticism
Capability to manage priorities across multiple tasks
Capability to deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation to get to and from office / client locations
Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need
Must be located within the U.S. when working remotely
Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
