About the Role

The Breakfast Attendant will prepare and oversee the breakfast area for guest service in accordance with hotel policies and brand standards to achieve guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety and security.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up breakfast items.
  • Greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival, initiating and engaging in conversation.
  • Bus and clear tables, straighten chairs, and arrange furniture.
  • Brew fresh coffee as needed.
  • Restock drink and food items and other supplies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the breakfast area.
  • Empty trash receptacles.
  • Engage with guests and thank them upon departure.
  • Clean all equipment and breakfast/kitchen areas.
  • Sweep and mop dining/kitchen areas.
  • Properly store unused drink, food items, and supplies in accordance with health codes.
  • Inspect storage areas, fridges, and freezers for inventory counts.
  • Follow hotel operational procedures to place orders for items below par levels.
  • Receive supplies, date, and rotate stock.
  • Conduct product inventory, receive, and store orders.

Requirements

  • Prior food serving experience preferred.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to change.
  • Ability to follow policies, work independently or in teams, use time and resources wisely, and prioritize safety.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service skills.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and respectful communication.
  • Must have open availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Able to bend, squat, and twist repeatedly.
  • Able to walk and stand for the duration of the scheduled shift.
