Responsibilities
- Locates, audits, and transfers kits or materials as required.
- Performs satellite receiving functions.
- Picks up or drops off materials at vendor sites using a van or truck.
- Performs cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory.
- Identifies and processes nonconforming material.
- Prevents accumulation of excess or exceptional material.
- Moves stock as required.
- Replenishes empty line-side bins in a manufacturing environment.
- Receives parts and updates inventory records.
- Performs transactions in Oracle or other inventory systems.
- Verifies vendor delivery before accepting parts and/or inventory.
- Monitors, updates, and maintains shortage reports, including review of work orders.
- Purges stock of excess and obsolete material.
- Takes action to rework, transfer, or scrap excess and obsolete items.
- Operates powered industrial vehicles, including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Drives a van or truck if necessary.
- Operates an overhead crane.
- Adheres to all safety standards and protocols.
- Follows documented business processes.
- Trains other Material Coordinators.
- Regulates and prepares material for delivery to the cleanroom environment.
- Performs transactions in SAP.
- Focuses on inventory management activities in a spares environment.
Requirements
- This is a physically demanding position requiring standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, distinguishing between colors, working in a noisy environment, using hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts.
- May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields for cleanroom work.
