Responsibilities
- Performs electro-mechanical technical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
- Tests and troubleshoots system and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, and descriptions to perform testing and troubleshooting.
- Compiles logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Assists in revising, developing, and implementing department procedures.
- Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms.
- Observes all safety standards and maintains a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
- Becomes familiar with current manufacturing and/or engineering processes and assists in correcting problems.
- Performs necessary rework and assists in determining remedies for malfunctions.
- Generates Quality Notifications.
Requirements
- Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks.
- Has a good understanding of how the team integrates with others to achieve objectives.
- May provide informal guidance and support to more junior team members.
- Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
