About the Role

Partner with innovative retailers to co-develop next-generation solutions addressing their business challenges. Inspire senior retail technology leaders with a vision for cloud and digital transformation, guiding them through complex decisions. Serve as the strategic technology leader for accounts, shaping multiyear roadmaps and orchestrating resources to bring them to life. Connect industry scenarios to Microsoft solutions, provide thought leadership in digital transformation, and create demand by showcasing possibilities. Champion the customer's perspective internally to ensure solutions deliver impact and measurable outcomes. Collaborate with an Enterprise Account Executive to develop technology leadership and excellence for customers, bringing industry-relevant solutions that help customers securely adopt artificial intelligence technologies. Leverage technology and industry expertise to deliver secure AI solutions that accelerate customer vision and establish trusted advisor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Document and articulate customer's business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and security strategy to lead conversations.
  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with senior technology executives.
  • Lead technical decision-maker conversations and governance to ensure customers realize value from Microsoft's solutions.
  • Develop and execute an account coverage and execution plan aligned to quota, consumption goals, and customer success outcomes.
  • Engage deeply with customers using consultative selling skills and constructively challenge assumptions.
  • Articulate and understand industry-related market trends, customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience.
  • Extensive experience in relevant customer industry.
  • Extensive experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
