  • Identify friction points, inefficiencies, and opportunities where technology-enabled change would create meaningful value.
  • Document and translate business challenges into clearly framed problem statements.
  • Support the definition of technology-dependent initiatives, including scope, requirements, success metrics, and sequencing.

  • Bring rigor and structure to opportunities before they enter formal delivery.
  • Help move initiatives forward by coordinating with partners across technology, operations, vendors, finance, compliance, and field stakeholders.
  • Build effective working relationships across a complex stakeholder environment and contribute to building consensus without formal authority.
  • Track cross-organizational dependencies and escalate risks, trade-offs, and decision points to Business Solutions leadership.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to Business Solutions leadership on the technology implications of business decisions.
  • Prepare clear, well-reasoned analysis and recommendations on technology investment, deferral, and sequencing.
  • Represent Business Solutions’ technology needs in working sessions with enterprise partners.

Requirements

  • Experience contributing to technology-enabled business change in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity, including the ability to quickly develop a working understanding of new products, processes, and operating models.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively through influence, driving outcomes with teams over which they have no direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity, structure complex problems, and identify practical solutions.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Working familiarity with how technology gets delivered in large organizations, including SDLC, agile delivery models, requirements definition, and the trade-offs between build, buy, and integrate.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound judgment, intellectual honesty, and a low-ego, collaborative working style.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience spanning business and technology roles, including time spent on technology-enabled change initiatives.
  • Insurance industry experience strongly preferred; experience in financial services or other complex, regulated industries will be considered.
