About the Role
The Executive Director, Regional Brand Creative leads the vision and execution for North America across paid media, social, ecommerce, retail, education, consumer events, and product launches. This role oversees both content development and the ongoing delivery of high-volume regional creative assets, ensuring every execution balances exceptional craft with speed, consistency, and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Regional Brand Creative team cluster, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, growth, and positivity.
- Establish and uphold the creative vision and quality across every North American consumer touchpoint.
- Concept and lead integrated 360° campaigns from idea through production, post-production, and final delivery.
- Provide overall direction for photo and video productions while developing the team's concepting, art direction, and leadership capabilities.
- Raise the bar by championing exceptional craft, thoughtful design, strong typography, and a culture of constructive creative feedback.
- Adapt Global campaigns for North America and develop regionally relevant design solutions that support business objectives.
- Partner closely with VP Regional Creative, Marketing, Online, Consumer Engagement, Global Creative, Creative Operations, and agency partners to deliver impactful, on-brand work.
- Serve as the North American steward of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency while evolving brand expression for the regional market.
- Oversee the full scope of North American content creation across regional campaigns, ecommerce, retail, and product launches, ensuring creative excellence at every scale.
- Lead planning across campaigns, high-volume asset delivery, productions, timelines, approvals, and agency partnerships.
- Balance multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality of execution in a fast-paced environment, understanding when to elevate craft and when to optimize for speed, efficiency, and scale.
- Partner closely with Creative Operations to prioritize work, streamline workflows, and ensure the timely delivery of ecommerce and campaign assets while maintaining brand standards.
- Anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and scale creative output.
- Exercise strong creative judgment, knowing when to push ideas further and when to prioritize speed, efficiency, and flawless execution.
- Stay ahead of trends across beauty, fashion, culture, technology, and design to keep the brand culturally relevant.
- Drive creative brainstorming and champion new ideas, platforms, and ways of working.
- Monitor competitive activity and consumer trends to continually elevate the brand and inspire fresh thinking.
- Foster a culture of creativity, curiosity, inclusivity, and accountability.
- Lead with empathy, optimism, and high standards while creating an environment where people feel challenged, supported, and inspired to do their best work.
- Develop talent through mentorship, thoughtful design critique, and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Exceptional creative taste with a portfolio demonstrating stellar design, typography, art direction, photography, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to adapt to established brand systems while creating original and compelling design solutions.
- Extensive experience leading integrated campaigns within beauty, fashion, luxury, or another design-driven industry, with the ability to balance breakthrough brand work and the ongoing delivery of high-volume digital, ecommerce, and CRM assets.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing creative teams.
- Experience concepting and directing event and experiential design.
- Strong strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into compelling ideas and meaningful consumer experiences.
- Experience leading photo and video productions from concept and casting through on-set art direction and post-production.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build compelling presentations and confidently sell ideas.
- Experience managing agency relationships, creative production, talent, and external partners.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Photography, videography, video editing, and self-created Lo-Fi content are a plus.
- Passion for exploring AI as a tool to improve workflows, efficiency, and innovation.
