About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to residential incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and incident activity.
- Communicate observations and incidents to site management and Allied Universal leadership, completing accurate reports and shift documentation.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
