About the Role
Abano Healthcare is seeking AHPRA-registered dentists for locum opportunities across Australia. Enjoy flexibility, strong earning potential, and the chance to work in various locations while providing general dentistry services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning across general dentistry.
- Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions, and urgent care, with scope aligned to your clinical experience.
- Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases as required.
- Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants, oral health therapists, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations.
- Adapt to different practice environments and systems to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience practising in Australia.
- Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Professional indemnity insurance.

Salary/Compensations
- $800 base retainer per working day or 40% commission, whichever is greater
