About the Role

This role directly supports the origination of new transactions within the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sector, delivering best-in-class service to clients and internal stakeholders in Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB).

Responsibilities

Originate and self-manage a pipeline of new customers/deals in the commodities sector (primarily TMT) and manage the end-to-end sales process.
Collaborate with Global Trade Solutions (GTS) Sales Managers to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Support GTS Sales Managers with client engagement, including attending exploratory calls to understand client needs.
Take ownership of deal logistics, including producing profitability calculations and transactional analysis.
Develop client pitching materials that articulate specific solutions to client challenges.
Provide support for deal administration, including entering transaction information into key systems.
Deliver concise updates on transactions to senior GTS stakeholders.
Develop collaborative working relationships with various GTS functions to support client delivery.

Requirements

Relevant experience, ideally in Trade Finance or with exposure to Trade Finance solutions.
Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role or a role directly supporting client interaction.
Strong analytical experience and capability.
Familiarity with multi-disciplinary teams and a collaborative approach to client challenges.
Strong interest in developing technical Trade Finance skills and experience.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team within a rapidly evolving sector.
