About the Role
Paramount Skydance Corp is seeking a Software Engineer to build AI-powered tools, backend services, and internal platforms that support the Global Quality Engineering organization. This role involves developing production-grade software to accelerate test creation, triage, analysis, and automation workflows, contributing to intelligent systems that improve engineering efficiency and modernize quality engineering at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build backend services, CLIs, and internal tools that integrate AI capabilities into GQE workflows.
- Implement features for AI-assisted test generation, log summarization, and defect triage.
- Contribute to RAG pipelines, embeddings workflows, and LLM-powered utilities under senior guidance.
- Integrate AI tooling into CI/CD pipelines and existing automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with QE, Platform, and Data Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience (Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar).
- Experience building backend services, APIs, or internal tools.
- Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, or AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in AI-driven engineering.
